Sania Mirza out of Wimbledon 2009 from 2nd Round

India's teenage dream girl Sania Mirza is out of the prestigious Wimbledon 2009 singles tournament yesterday when she was defeated by Romanian teenage rising tennis star Sorana Cirstea.

Sonara cirstea defeated Sania Mirza in two stright sets 6-4, 6-4. First set was taken around 40 minutes time and the winning set comes in 42 minutes time. In the ladies singles first round Sania Mirza defeated Anna-lena Groenefeld of GERMANY in 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 sets.




Sania Mirza's 30 unforced errors made a part in her defeat as her rival made only 9 unforced errors.
